Rosana Barragan is a dance & movement teacher and performing artist from South America. She has a Master’s degree in Dance from the Laban Center in London and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication & Social Studies. She is certified in Yoga, Participatory Arts and Somatic Movement Education. She has extensive experience as a dance professional. She has run her family dance studio in her native country, Colombia, where she has also worked as a university professor. She has lived in the United States for two years working for the Latin Ballet of Virginia, where she has coordinated the educational programs and has taught children, youth at risk and students with special needs. Rosana has danced all her life since she inherited the art form from her mother; she has taught all ages for 15 years and feels a special love for teaching children. As an artist, Rosana has received various awards and has shown her choreographic work in Europe, South America and the United States.
